Hello Everyone,
One of our wonderful employees, Eva, who we all know and love here at GCW and her sister Margaret sadly lost their mom and a sister to cancer a few years ago. Margaret is now facing her own battle with this horrible disease.
Margaret has been diagnosed with ovarian and breast cancer. Her husband has taken a leave of absence from work to take care of her.
As you can imagine, this is taking quite a toll on their finances, leaving Margaret with more stress and hardship. As if cancer isn’t hard enough already?!
To support Margaret and her family through this struggle, her family is hosting a fundraising dinner. Here are the details:
Where: Mount Salem Church at 6576 Springfield Road
When: Saturday, February 22, 2020
- The doors will be open at 4:30 pm
- Dinner served at 5:00 pm
For $15 per plate, they will be serving tacos, beans, and rice. Baked goods will also be available for purchase.
